How to support this vital ministry
Christian radio is listener-supported, unlike commercial radio which is sponsored by advertisements. Christian radio utilizes the collective efforts and gift resources of small and large businesses, foundations, non-profit organizations, governmental entities, and listeners to make available family-centered programming not readily available in secular media. Another important way Christian radio receives support is by running the "non-commercial" underwriting announcements identifying businesses, churches, and organizations. You can support Christian radio by sponsoring one of our many programs. Yet another means of supporting Christian radio is tithing during one of the "Share-athons" we conduct twice a year on the air.
Why be supportive
People today are bombarded with messages - mostly negative and immoral. Society's values are being shaped by the electronic media. This has led to a decline in ethical behavior. Worse yet, most households must have both husband and wife working just to make ends meet. This leads to a "time-impoverished" society that gets information "on the run." Only a small percentage of persons seem to have the time for personal Bible study and many families skip church services altogether. Christian radio helps fill this gap by providing straight-forward approaches to moral and ethical issues. Christian radio provides sound, biblical teaching through some of the most gifted Bible teachers of our time. We also deal with teen issues, provide wholesome entertainment and, most importantly, provide insight as to how to reach the lost with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Christian radio also does its part to defend the rights of Christians everywhere.
Our group of programs can make a positive difference for your family!
